Her current schedule limits the creative time she has in the studio, but Renee is working on a new ceramic series of Garden sculptures inspired by classic fairy tales.
Drawn to ceramics and painting, Renee seamlessly navigates between both mediums, exploring their unique characteristics. Despite the challenges posed by her inability to create mental images, she has discovered her voice as an artist, celebrating her unique perspective as a strength.
In 2017, Renee's artistic journey took a new turn with pottery classes in Austin, TX, where she found her true passion in clay. This tactile medium allows her to immerse herself fully in the creative process, channeling her artistic energy into each piece.
Inspired by her Victorian home and gardens, Renee's ceramic creations breathe life into functional and decorative home decor, including wall art and sculptural pieces. As a passionate gardener, she finds inspiration in the natural world, infusing her ceramic garden sculptures with whimsy and enchantment.
