This is an original painting by Renee Holder using artist grade acrylic paint on a 0.75" profile 8" x 8" wood panel. This is a textured piece and invites the viewer to gently touch the painting to engage more than one sense. The painting has been sealed to protect the painting from touch and UV light.
This painting is sold framed. The black wood frame elevates this painting with a floating effect. The frames profile height of 1 in 7/8" inches protects the wood panel and enables a variety of hardware to be used to hang the painting.
Artists Reflections: One of the features of my homes Victorian gardens is a black wrought iron bench and lamp post positioned under a Bur Oak tree. In this painting, We have blue skies on most days and this painting captures those elements. My favorite color is blue and I use multiple blues in this piece, leaving brush strokes to symbolizing the movement of light. This lamp post beams with a warm golden light accentuated with glass beads in the paint body.
