Full Kiln Rental - Glaze Firing

Renee Holder Designs is offering glaze firing services for ceramic applications up to cone 10 (2381°F) in Navasota, TX. Contact Renee Holder to coordinate drop-off and discuss your specific firing needs. Payment can be made in person.

This is for the second firing in the ceramics process and is pieces that have gone through the bisque firing and have been glazed. The upmost care will be taken when firing the work provided, however there is always a chance the piece will crack, explode or not react as expected. Pieces should be fully dry at drop-off and are fired as received. I assume no responsibility for any firing or building issues that occur. 

Customer must know the clay and glaze used to ensure pieces are fired at the correct temperature. If glaze has characteristics of movement, an appropriate glaze-free space should be left above the bottom of the piece, and you must provide kiln shelf protection including a cookie or stilts at drop-off. This service is to rent the full kiln for glaze firing services, not a guarantee of the finished product. I reserve the right to refuse any work.

Kiln furniture and the number of shelves included in the firing will impact available space. I require at least 1 inch between pieces and the kiln walls, floor, ceiling and thermocouple.
